Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of financial literacy, personal behavior, financial stability, religion and society, and age on individual investment decisions in various investment alternatives, including real estate, the stock market, gold and other available investment avenues among investors in Quetta City. The study is grounded in a review of the existing literature, which provides theoretical and empirical insights into the factors influencing individual investment behavior. Based on the identified research gap and the conceptual framework, hypotheses are developed to examine the relationships between the independent variables and individual investment decisions. A quantitative research approach is employed, using a structured questionnaire to collect primary data from investors. The collected data are analyzed using appropriate statistical techniques to assess the proposed relationships and test the study hypotheses. The findings are expected to provide meaningful insights into the factors that shape investors’ preferences and decision-making processes. Finally, the study presents conclusions and practical recommendations for investors, financial institutions, policymakers, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance informed and effective investment decision-making.
